Procession
On July 7th at 10am the city and church officials attend this traditional procession through the streets of Pamplona with the statue and relics of Saint Fermin, the patron of Pamplona and the festival. With brass bands, Gigantes and Cabezudos, this event is attended by nearly all the local families. From the Cathedral, the procession first makes its way to the Cathedral to be joined by the church officials. They then make their way to the beautiful medieval Church of San Lorenzo to get the statue of Saint Fermin. The figure is ceremoniously paraded throughout the city for two hours and finally returned to his home at 2pm.
